CANADA’S LARGEST NATURAL HOT SPRINGS
Liard River Hot Springs is a place to relax after long, adventurous days road-tripping the Alaska Highway.
These natural hot springs are the largest in Canada and sit in a lush boreal forest landscape. Walk along wooden boardwalks to the Alpha Pool, where you can sink toes into the sand, rest your back against the earth basin, and soak in temperatures that fluctuate between 42-52°C (108-126°F). Keep an eye out for moose feeding in the nearby marsh waters and over 100 bird species who call the area home.
Located at Kilometre 765 of the Alaska Highway, visitors can book an overnight stay at the campground to truly relax. Enjoy a day or two of unlimited hot springs access, open year-round for campground users. Come summer, camp sites can book up quick and securing a reservation well in advance is strongly recommended.
